Doctor: Hello sir. Please take a seat.
의사: 안녕하세요 선생님. 여기 앉으세요.
Patient: Hello, doctor. It is getting close to summer and I’d like to remove some hair.
환자: 선생님, 안녕하세요. 여름이 다가와서 제모 시술을 받고 싶습니다.
Doctor: What area would you like to remove the hair from?
의사: 어느 부위를 제모하고 싶으신가요?
Patient: First I would like to have the hair from my armpit removed. Is that possible with a laser?
환자: 우선 겨드랑이 제모를 하고 싶습니다. 레이저 제모가 가능한가요?
Doctor: With a laser we can burn out the root of the hair, so that it will not grow anymore. This also does far less damage to your skin than other methods.
의사: 레이저로 모근을 태워서 더 이상 자라지 않도록 하기 때문에 기존 제모보다 피부 손상이 낮습니다.
Patient: Is it possible to erase it forever?
환자: 그러면 영구 제모가 가능한가요?
Doctor: We cannot achieve those results with just one treatment. We must do it several times. This is because the thickness and amount of the hair differs for each person. We can do one surgical treatment every six weeks.
의사: 한번으로는 어렵고 여러 번 받으셔야 합니다. 사람마다 털의 굵기와 양이 차이가 있기 때문에 개인차가 있습니다. 1회 시술 후에 6주 간격을 두고 시술이 진행됩니다.
Patient: How is the procedure performed? Does it hurt a lot?
환자: 어떤 식으로 시술을 하나요? 많이 아픈가요?
Doctor: In the surgery we shave the arm and apply some gel and then we go over it with a lazer. It will sting a bit but it is nothing too bad.
의사: 시술은 면도를 하시고 젤을 바른 상태에서 레이저를 조사하게 됩니다. 약간의 따끔거림이 있지만 참을 만하실 겁니다.
Patient: Oh yes, I see. How long does one of the procedures take?
환자: 네, 그렇군요. 그러면 한번 시술 시간은 어느 정도인가요?
Doctor: It takes roughly five minutes to do each armpit.
의사: 양쪽 겨드랑이 시술에 약 5분 정도 걸립니다.
