N: Hello, sir. Let me help you book your examination. The test you need is provided only on the mornings of Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Can you tell me which of these days and times suit you best?
간호사: 안녕하세요 환자분, 이제부터 검사 스케줄을 잡겠습니다. 이 검사는 월요일, 화요일, 금요일 오전에만 진행을 합니다. 원하시는 날짜와 시간이 있으면 먼저 알려주시겠어요?
P: I think Tuesday morning would be the best for me. Should I come in on an empty stomach? In that case, I’d like the test to be as early in the morning as possible.
환자: 네, 저는 화요일 오전이 좋을 것 같습니다. 혹시 금식을 해야 하나요? 그러면 아침 이른 시간이 더욱 좋겠습니다.
N: All right. Let me check by calling the staff in the examination room.
간호사: 네, 잠시만요, 담당 검사 직원과 통화해 보도록 하겠습니다.
(The nurse makes the phone call.)

N: Thanks for waiting. Is 8:30 on the morning of this coming Tuesday fine with you?
간호사: 기다려 주셔서 감사합니다. 다음주 화요일 오전 8시 30분 괜찮으신가요?
P: Yes, it is. When will I be able to see the results then?
환자: 네, 좋습니다. 그러면 결과는 언제쯤 볼 수 있을까요?
N: If nothing goes wrong, the results will come out a day or so after you take the test. I’ll book your appointment with your doctor the day after the test so that you can discuss the results. What time would you like to come in for your results?
간호사: 네, 검사를 하고 결과가 나오는 데 하루 정도 걸릴 것으로 예상합니다. 그러면 그 다음 날로 결과 예약 잡아드리겠습니다. 결과 예약은 몇 시가 좋으신가요?
P: I can come in during lunch hour.
환자: 네, 그러면 점심 시간 즈음으로 하고 싶은데요.
N: Okay, then I’ll write you down to see Dr. Ahn So-hoon at 1:30 p.m. that day. Don’t forget to come back here for your test on an empty stomach at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
간호사: 네, 그러면 1시 반으로 안소훈 교수님과 예약을 잡겠습니다. 화요일 오전 8시 30분에 아침 식사하지 마시고 이쪽으로 내원해 주세요.
